AMA Education System (AMAES) was the official Information Technology partner of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in its Job and Livelihood Fair conducted nationwide as part of its 109th Labor Day celebration. The Job and Livelihood Fair was held in all the different regions of the country in over 20 strategically-located venues; in NCR it was held in Rizal Park, Manila. DOLE tied up with different private partners and because of AMA’s nationwide presence, it was tapped to provide the computers and encoders for the registration of jobseekers.

St. Augustine, a member school of AMAES, fielded medical teams in case medical first-aid service was needed.

Over 30,000 jobseekers came to the various fair venues all over the Philippines. The theme of the fair was ‘Matuwid na Daan Tungo sa Kaunlaran Para sa Lahat’ and the fair wanted to help jobseekers, not only to find productive jobs, but also to encourage them to go into income-earning enterprises. Objective of the fair was to at least get 15% of the job vacancies of local and foreign companies to be filled up by some of these qualified jobseekers.
AMA University/College and St. Augustine are two of the learning institutions under AMAES. The other member schools are ABE International Business College, AIIT International Institute of Technology and St. Augustine International School (Basic Education) in 200 campuses, not just in the Philippines, but worldwide.
